SUGAR BEACH RESORT – Centrally located on Maui to explore all the sights!! Sugar Beach Resort is on a beautiful 5 mile beach. Snorkel, swim, bodysurf, jog or stroll the beach right out front! There’s actually a family of turtles that hang out here!! They also know that Sugar Beach is a fun place to stay on Maui!! In the winter months, you can also see whales in the channel right out front!! In addition to being convenient to all the sites on Maui, you’ll enjoy spectacular sunsets and early morning walks on this beautiful five mile beach!

CONDO LOCATION AT SUGAR BEACH RESORT – This designer decorated, upgraded condo is on the ground floor in the Plantation Building. For those of you who have stayed at Sugar Beach in the past, the Plantation Building is on your left as you face the water. The ground floor location is popular because it provides easy access to the beach, pool & jacuzzi without having to wait for elevators or climb stairs. The condo is located in the small wing that goes back from the water (not near any elevator noises). It has a lush view of the manicured gardens, putting green, waterfall, pool & the ocean beyond. Because Sugar Beach Resort is a smaller property, you can actually see the water and the sunsets from your private patio – less than 70 steps to the sand!! This condo is not oceanfront which is why it is affordable. The oceanfront condos will be twice the $$. Remember – you’re less than 70 steps to the sand!!

INSIDE THE CONDO – The condo is designer decorated with aqua green accent walls and crisp white trim plus a mirrored wall. The sofa and dining room chairs are upholstered in a rich Hawaiian flowered tapestry fabric. Very nice!! The sofa is a comfortable sofa sleeper. The entertainment center has cable TV and built-in DVD and VCR as well as a radio/tape & CD player. High speed internet is FREE as well as FREE calls anywhere in the US!! Hey – bring your iPod!! We also have an iPod docking station!!

SUPER COMFY KING BED!! The bedroom has a king bed with a super comfy mattress and quality sheets. Plantation shutters on the window allow light and privacy. There is a 2nd TV in the bedroom and a closet with mirrored doors. The adjoining bathroom has a large shower and a NEW mirrored vanity area. There are plenty of towels plus beach towels.

UPGRADED KITCHEN!! The kitchen has been upgraded – all new cabinets with sliding shelves, new countertops and new appliances. (When you are comparing condos, an upgraded kitchen is a MUST! You really do not want to spend your vacation in a condo that has original cabinets and appliances! YIKES!) In the UPGRADED kitchen, you will find everything you need to make a quick breakfast or cook a fancy dinner or just blend a mai tai. There is a new full size refrigerator, smooth-top stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster and coffeemaker. There are plenty of very nice dishes, glasses, pots, pans and utensils. Look over the stove for spices and seasonings.

PRIVATE WASHER and DRYER!! Not that you want to work on vacation, but just in case, you will have your own washer and dryer inside the condo.

BRAND NEW AIR CONDITIONER!! There is central air-conditioning that cools every room. (You want central air, not room air-conditioners!!) In addition, there are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom for those who prefer fresh circulated air to air conditioning.

ALSO INCLUDED – beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and “noodles” for lazy floating in the ocean right out front. We have tried to think of everything to ensure a memorable & romantic Maui vacation!!

AMENITIES AT SUGAR BEACH RESORT – The oceanfront pool area is a popular spot, especially the huge jacuzzi! It is a fun way to watch the sunset on another beautiful Maui day. The deck area was enlarged and the old decking was replaced with beautiful quartzite flagstone. There are plenty of lounge chairs so there is no need to fight for one. The pool is heated – perfect for an early morning or late night swim. Just outside the pool is a large grassy area overlooking the beach which is perfect for sun lounging, reading or watching family members play in the sand and ocean.

The oceanfront BBQs are more than just a place to cook steaks!! They are a major gathering place at the end of each day – a fun place to enjoy a glass of wine, see old friends and meet new people from around the world!! Ask anyone who has stayed at Sugar Beach – BBQ’ing is FUN and a highlight of each day!!

AND, an added convenience is the General Store so you don’t have to get in the car if you forgot to buy milk or beer at the store. You’ll also enjoy Dina’s Sandwitch – a cute restaurant/bar just in case you don’t want to cook every meal! Maui Massage is also located at Sugar Beach Resort so you can treat yourself to a facial or a massage.
