The Palms Cottage is our 600 square foot stand alone studio. It has 2 queen beds, a kitchenette and a spacious breezy sun room for dining & an 8′ couch to kick back and read. Our cottages are very clean, well appointed and we offer quiet, privacy and beautiful tropical surroundings. DSL/TV/CD/DVD & Satellite. Gas stand up BBQ. We are on the tropical, lush East side of the Big Island, a 45 min. drive to Hilo. Our area is very unspoiled and not developed. Our guests enjoy quiet and the feeling of ancient Hawaii. A 20 min. drive to the nearest town of Pahoa for dining and shopping. There is a cafe 1/2 mile away and another one 5 miles away. I have attached a map of the area.
Kalani Oceanside Retreat (google their website it gives you a great overview of our area) is 1/2 mile away and offers a restaurant, yoga classes, volleyball, hula, estatic dance on Sunday & much more. Great farmers market on Sunday near Pahoa.
There is amazing lava activity for an exciting evening of entertainment, it is quite spectacular! We are a 20 min. drive to the end of the road and a 15 min. walk to best viewing site on the island. Tennis shoes and flashlights are recommended PLEASE EMAIL FOR AVAILABILITY AND MORE PHOTOS
